The ad from the ClimateSilence.org campaign, which is led by Forecast the Facts and Friends of the Earth Action, will be funded with donations from supporters, who as of early Saturday afternoon had pledged $8,720. Pasta: Fusilli di Gragnano con i carciofi Nov 2nd 2012, 14:10 Fusilli di Gragnano con i carciofi Questa settimana ho acquistato dei fantastici carciofi biologici e mi è venuta subito voglia di cucinarli: spesso nei carciofi si scartano tante foglie e i gambi, che invece sono deliziosi e credo siano la parte più buona e delicata di questo fantastico vegetale. In questa ricetta ho utilizzato tutte le parti del carciofo, togliendo solo la sommità con le spine e le due o tre foglie più dure (che si possono comunque utilizzare per un brodo delicato o essere sbollentate e mangiate come contorno). Per questa ricetta ho utilizzato i fusilli corti col buco trafilati al bronzo del Pastificio G. Di Martino, specialità rinomata di Gragnano, ruvidi e consistenti per gustare in pieno questo delicato condimento.   INGREDIENTI (per 4 persone) 400 gr di fusilli 4 carciofi 1 cipolla olio extravergine d'oliva sale pepe   PROCEDIMENTO Pulire i carciofi eliminando solo le due o tre foglie esterne più dure (che si possono bollire a parte e servire come contorno) e le punte con le spine: tagliare i gambi, pelarli con il pelapatate e tenerli da parte. Tagliare le teste dei carciofi a fettine sottili (se hanno un po' di barba interna, bisogna toglierla… fare attenzione, perché significa che sono un po' vecchiotti!). Soffriggere la cipolla tritata in una larga padella con due cucchiai d'olio: unire i carciofi a fettine, regolare di sale e far cuocere qualche minuti, unendo mezzo bicchiere d'acqua. I carciofi dovranno essere cotti, ma non troppo: devono comunque mantenere la loro consistenza croccante. Portare a bollore una grande pentola colma d'acqua, salarla con un pugno di sale grosso e buttarvi dentro sia la pasta che i gambi di carciofo: scolare la pasta al dente assieme ai gambi. Condire la pasta con i carciofi a fettine e aggiungervi i gambi tagliati a rondelle: amalgamare delicatamente i tutto, unire una bella macinata di pepe fresco e servire subito.

It's why President Barack Obama's super PAC spent the summer focusing on Mitt Romney's tenure at Bain Capital, accusing him specifically of being a pioneer in the field of outsourcing. It's why the Obama campaign soon followed suit.
