Huffington Post: Los Angeles Sparks Sold To Magic Johnson Investment Group, Source Says Posted: 04 Feb 2014 09:56 PM PST Magic Johnson is part of a group buying the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA, according to a person familiar with the situation. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Tuesday night because no announcement had been made. Johnson teamed with a group of investors to buy baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers in 2012 for a record $2.15 billion. Huffington Post: Baghdad Bombings: Explosions Near Heavily-Fortified 'Green Zone' Kill At Least 13 Posted: 04 Feb 2014 11:19 PM PST Four bombs struck near Baghdad's heavily-fortified "Green Zone" and a busy square in the center of the capital on Wednesday, killing at least 13 people, security sources said. The blasts came a day after two rockets were fired into the Green Zone, home to the prime minister's office and Western embassies, and are likely to heighten concerns about Iraq's ability to protect strategic sites as security deteriorates. On Wednesday, security sources said two parked car bombs were detonated opposite the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, killing five people.
