Huffington Post: Holy Smoke! Take The Catholic Church Gay Art Tour

Posted: 31 Jul 2013 06:09 AM PDT

The Pope has uttered some common sense words about homosexuality – and about time, too. While stopping well short of a full recognition of gay rights, his declaration that he does not "judge" is at least the start of a better approach by the Catholic church.

If Pope Francis wants to think more about this issue, he could do worse than take a tour of churches and galleries in Rome and the Vatican where, for centuries, gay artists have created the glories of the church.

Huffington Post: Home Renovations Make 12 Percent of Couples Consider Divorce, According To Houzz Survey

Posted: 31 Jul 2013 06:10 AM PDT

Although it's exciting to start a home renovation, there are, of course, some drawbacks. Remodeling projects can go over budget, get behind schedule and, according to design and home improvement website Houzz, wreak havoc on relationships.

More than half of the respondents from a survey distributed by the site reported that renovating was a particularly frustrating and stressful time in their marriages. And a surprising 12 percent even admitted that their projects led them to consider a separation or divorce. Yikes! But what are couples fighting over?

One third attested their conflicts to battling styles, according to the survey. Marriage counselor Julie Schwartz Gottman discussed the topic of disagreeing over design with The Wall Street Journal and said "if somebody doesn't feel understood, it can sit there festering and trickle out into the rest of the marriage."

Huffington Post: Sarah Michelle Gellar Does Not Want Freddie Prinze Jr. And David Boreanaz To Kiss

Posted: 31 Jul 2013 06:11 AM PDT

Sarah Michelle Gellar's husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., will appear on "Bones" opposite her former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" love interest David Boreanaz and Gellar has high hopes for the guest spot.

"As long as they don't make out I think it'll be fun," Gellar told TVLine.

Gellar, who co-stars in the upcoming CBS fall comedy "The Crazy Ones" opposite Robin Williams, said the guest spot basically happened after the three of them hung out poolside. Boreanaz floated the idea and Prinze agreed.

Posted: 31 Jul 2013 06:12 AM PDT

For most of us, spending thousands of dollars on our clothes will always be a pipe dream. But that doesn't mean we can't make our high-street items look like couture.

Believe it or not, there are tons of ways you can make your poly blend look more expensive, and it won't cost you a fortune. Tricks as simple as swapping out the buttons on a garment can totally change its appearance, while ditching the belt that came with a cheap dress is almost always the right decision.

While it's important to know which items to never skimp on, it's equally crucial to know which pieces never require you to drop the big bucks (we're looking at you $100 white T-shirts).

1 cipolla
1 zucchina

1 pomodoro
1 carota
1 peperone rosso
1 peperone giallo
1 peperone verde
1 patata
1 melanzana
1 costa di sedano
1 spicchio d'aglio
1 mazzolino di erbe aromatiche fresche (origano, salvia, prezzemolo e basilico)
olio extravergine d'oliva
sale

PROCEDIMENTO
Servire subito.

Huffington Post: 'We Can't Stop (Gazzo x Kalkutta Remix)' Brings Miley Cyrus' Hit To Lifek

Posted: 30 Jul 2013 08:49 AM PDT

"We Can't Stop," Miley Cyrus' inescapable take on Rihanna's strip-club anthems, has snaked its way into the song of the summer race, nipping at the heels of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and Daft Punk's "Get Lucky." Depending on where you fall on the love-hate continuum that Miley's recent output has inspired, that's either great or bad news, but in either case, there's hope: a new remix from New Jersey native Mike Gazzo and New York producer, HuffPost blogger and DJ extraordinaire Kalkutta.

The rework, which is debuting exclusively on HuffPost Entertainment, sees Gazzo and Kalkutta leaving Mike Will's syrupy (and admittedly entrancing) beat behind for a two part anthem that blends electro house and something that approaches moombahton without falling for the trap-inflected style that's currently the rage in electronic dance music.

"We were inspired by artists like Zedd and Hardwell to change up the two drops as well as the tempo, creative choices that helped prevent the song from becoming just another generic pop remix," Kalkutta, who previously released the most popular remix of Krewella's "Alive" with Cash Cash, told HuffPost. "Because the original song is so slow, we thought a strong uptempo remix would really help extend its life in the club scene."

Huffington Post: Guns Are For White People

Posted: 30 Jul 2013 08:51 AM PDT

Bloomberg View

Everybody's white. That's the conclusion from a survey of gun magazines I bought the other day. The survey, I admit, was not conducted in accord with the best research practices: I asked the guy at the subway kiosk for as many gun magazines as he could give me before the #4 train pulled in. He handed me three for $17.

All the magazines have ads for, well, guns, and loads of accessories (love the "Sneaky Pete" concealment holster). Naturally, they have stories on guns -- whether "intimidating, big-muzzle looks" or a "Tank-tough Recon Tactical with added strength and reliability for patrol." In addition, there are features on gun life, such as columns in Guns Magazine called "Campfire Tales" and "Odd Angry Shot."

Panzerotti integrali con erbe aromatiche, pomodoro e mozzarella

Esperimento riuscito!

erbette aromatiche essiccate (origano, timo, ecc)

PROCEDIMENTO
