Huffington Post: London Heathrow Airport Expansion Includes Plans For A Third Runway

LONDON -- Heathrow unveiled new proposals Wednesday to create a third runway at the London airport – saying that the ideas will allow a vast expansion at Europe's busiest air hub.

The three options put forward on Wednesday will allow the airport to move from a capacity of 480,000 flights a year to 740,000 – expansion that supporters insist is critical in order for the country to remain competitive on the world stage. The cheapest option would cost 14 billion pounds ($21 billion), the most expensive 18 billion pounds.

Jonathan Groff hopes his new HBO series represents multiple aspects of gay life.

The dramedy, which stars Groff, Frankie J. Alvarez ("Smash") and Murray Bartlett ("Damages") as three friends living in San Francisco, hails from Michael Lannan, who will serve as executive producer alongside Sarah Condon and David Marshall Grant. Lannan wrote the pilot, which will be directed by Andrew Haigh.

According to SFGate, Groff will play a video game designer named Patrick, who's looking for love on OKCupid.

Chauncey Billups is back in Detroit, and he's ready to do some winning.

At a news conference Tuesday, Billups, who just signed a two-year contract with the Detroit Pistons for $2.5 million a year, said he's happy to be back in the Palace of Auburn Hills.

"I feel like I've still got some good years of basketball left," said the five-time NBA All-Star, according to the Associated Press. "I've said it, time and time again, that I always wanted to be remembered as a Piston."
