Posted: 14 Jun 2013 08:08 AM PDT For entrepreneur William K. Middlebrooks, the only difference between living an ordinary life and an extraordinary one is your willingness to do the extra in everything that you do. Huffington Post: Turkey Baster Rescue: Man Saves Baby's Life With Kitchen Tool (VIDEO) Posted: 14 Jun 2013 08:13 AM PDT A Michigan man sprang into action when he heard news of a nearby baby choking and used a turkey baster to save the girl's life. Two weeks ago, Bill Hogenson was working outside a home in Ludington, Mich., when he overheard a babysitter next door calling 911. "Patted her on the back some more, then spun her around and got a good look at her. And she quit crying and she smiled at me. And I knew that we were going to be in the good." Read More... |
Huffington Post: Kate Upton At 18 Looks Exactly The Same As She Does Today (PHOTO) Posted: 14 Jun 2013 08:13 AM PDT Happy Flashback Friday! Today we're taking a look back at Kate Upton's (sort of) humble beginnings. While the model just celebrated her 21st birthday, Reddit user digitron has unearthed a Polaroid of Kate taken when the aspiring model was three years younger -- at the tender age of 18. Kate looks pretty much unchanged since the days of this test shot, which is dated June 2010 (just a year before her recently repurposed Victoria's Secret snaps) and bears an "IMG" scribble, likely referring to the modeling agency that took Upton in. With her signature pout and long blonde locks, the baby-faced Sports Illustrated stunner looks unmistakable. Though she's clearly grown since the Polaroid was taken, teenage Kate displays all the makings of a model superstar. We wonder if the photographer could sense she'd make it onto the cover of Vogue someday... Read More... More on Kate Upton |
