Cape Girardeau public defender Christopher Davis told The Associated Press that Clay Waller will confess to killing 39-year-old Jacque Waller at a hearing Thursday afternoon. Students from Santa Monica High School in California have taken to YouTube to invite President Barack Obama to their graduation ceremony. And while it doesn't have the romance of, say, asking a supermodel to prom, they still make a pretty sweet argument for why Obama should take time from his already-scheduled Democratic Party fundraiser nearby to meet with the SaMo High class of 2013. Our favorite reasons include their group of 21 valedictorian candidates (one of the largest in the school's history) and the fact that this year, the school is graduating its hundredth class of seniors. But astronomers say galaxy IC 3418's death will not be in vain -- after all, the dwarf elliptical galaxy's throes may provide invaluable insights into the way such systems evolve. The galaxy is part of the Virgo Cluster, a group of more than a thousand galaxies relatively close to the group that contains the Milky Way.
