A 30-year-old woman died Tuesday morning after she was pulled from the frigid waters of the Chicago River near Michigan Avenue.

According to DNAinfo Chicago, the woman fell into the water in the 300 block of North Michigan Avenue about 3:40 a.m.

Witness Hailey Barham told CBS Chicago she was driving when she saw a woman begging a cab driver to call police. The woman's friends reportedly told her the group had been staying at the Omni Chicago Hotel and had been walking along the Riverwalk at the time of the incident.

STONEHENGE, England (AP) — After thousands of years, Stonehenge has had a makeover. But visitors may initially feel something is missing: the prehistoric monument itself.

Tourists now arrive at a gleaming new timber-and-glass visitor center some 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) from Stonehenge. The famous stone circle tucked into the rolling green landscape is nowhere to be seen.

Huffington Post: Fairytail Lounge, NYC Gay Bar, Shut Down For Not Having Liquor License

A popular gay bar that's enraged locals by throwing loud parties and playing porn that's visible from the street was raided by the NYPD early Saturday morning and was temporarily shut down for operating without a liquor license, sources said.

The raid on Fairytail Lounge, at 500 W. 48th St., was part of the Multi-Agency Response to Community Hotspots program and included police and investigators from the State Liquor Authority and the Department of Buildings, among others.

TUNIS, Tunisia (AP) — Tunisian police stepped up security while protesters from across the spectrum accused the government Tuesday of betraying the revolutions that started in this country and rocked the Arab world.

The protests were held to mark three years since a young vendor set himself on fire in desperation over unemployment and police harassment, unleashing an uprising that ousted a longtime dictator. While Tunisians have more freedoms today, the country is struggling on its road to democracy amid rising terrorism concerns and soaring unemployment.
