Historic first sales of legal recreational marijuana began across Colorado Wednesday when Sean Azzariti bought the first bag.

Azzariti, a Denver-based Iraq war veteran who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and could not -- until now -- get marijuana legally to help alleviate his symptoms, made his purchase at an 8 a.m. press event.

ATLANTA (AP) — Both Republicans and Democrats are looking for fresh ways to pitch old arguments as they head into the final midterm election year of Barack Obama's presidency.

Eager to capitalize as the president's job approval rating hovers in the low 40s, Republicans are looking to hammer the clumsy implementation of Obama's health care overhaul and bemoan an economy that, while improving, still grows too slowly. They're already painting Democrats as fiscally irresponsible underlings of an increasingly unpopular president whose government creates more problems than it solves.

We couldn't imagine Nick Saban telling his players to "mani up." But the Alabama coach doesn't seem averse to pampering himself, salon-style. Watch above as Saban gets his nails painted by 12-year-old patient Gabrielle Nave during a visit to Children's Hospital in New Orleans.

The Crimson Tide was making the rounds days before its Jan. 2 Sugar Bowl date against Oklahoma.

After the Tide's nail-biting loss to Auburn on a field goal miss returned for a touchdown, we can see why the coach's digits might need a little work.

A businessman, Wright is neither homeless nor poor. But there he was, on Dec. 24, dressed in a shabby sweatshirt and asking people for some cash or food.

Wright had a heartwarming plan up his sleeve.
