BERLIN (AP) — Germany must make a stronger effort to identify and return thousands of looted art pieces the Nazis took from Jews, the president of the World Jewish Congress said Thursday as he met with top government officials in Berlin to push his case.

Ronald Lauder told The Associated Press that Nazi-looted art still hangs in German museums, government offices and private collections. He said the country's legislation needs to be changed in order to facilitate its return.

Huffington Post: Stop-And-Frisk Appeal Dropped By Mayor De Blasio

NEW YORK (AP) -- New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio's (dih BLAH'-zee-ohz) administration has filed court papers seeking to drop an appeal of a judge's decision ordering major reforms to the police department's stop-and-frisk policy.

The papers were filed Thursday in the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan.

A judge ruled last year that the New York Police Department had discriminated against blacks and Hispanics with how it went about stopping, questioning and sometimes frisking people on the street. The judge ordered major reforms to the department's implementation of the policy.

Former Disney star Vanessa Hudgens paid tribute to the company responsible for her big break, but we're not sure the House of Mouse will appreciate the effort.

On Wednesday (Jan. 29), the 25-year-old was photographed on a jog through Runyon Canyon wearing a white pro-marijuana crop top with the word "DANK" in font inspired by the classic Disney logo.

It's not the first time the former "High School Musical" star has used fashion to express her fondness for pot. Back in March 2012, Hudgens was spotted rocking an oversized t-shirt featuring marijuana leaves.
