Huffington Post: The 'Breaking Bad' Complete Series Set Looks Awesome (PHOTOS)

Posted: 09 Sep 2013 10:05 AM PDT

The "Breaking Bad" complete series set looks all sorts of cool.

Not only does the Blu-ray set include a never-before-seen two-hour documentary chronicling the making of the final season from the first table read to the very last day, but the collector's edition is also packaged with a replica money barrel, 55 hours of special features, a 16-page booklet with a letter from creator Vince Gilligan, a commemorative challenge coin designed by Gilligan and an apron from Los Pollos Hermanos.

There's also an alternate ending -- yes, a 3-minute different ending than what will air on AMC, a gag reel, commentary on every episode and a whole mess of deleted and extended scenes.

He warned about the uncertainty in agreeing to President Barack Obama's request for military intervention after last month's deadly chemical weapons attack.

Huffington Post: Alan Grayson Backs John Kerry Proposal To Avoid Syria Strike

Posted: 09 Sep 2013 10:12 AM PDT

WASHINGTON -- A peaceful path out of the Syrian impasse began to emerge Monday, as a proposal from U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, in which the Assad regime would avoid airstrikes by handing over its chemical weapons to the international community, has quickly caught on.

Russian officials quickly embraced the proposal, as did the Syrian government, and in the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.), one of the most outspoken opponents of airstrikes, backed it as well.

"The proposal to place Syria's chemical weapons under international control has a great deal of merit, and unlike the planned strikes, actually would prevent chemical warfare attacks in the future," he said in a statement to HuffPost.
