Actors don't often trash their own movies, but when they do, it's usually a cathartic experience for film goers. After all, it's one thing to think "The Happening" was a bad movie; it's quite another to have those thoughts confirmed by the film's star, Mark Wahlberg. ("It was a bad movie that I did.") Ahead, 10 instances of actors bashing their films, from Wahlberg and Shia LaBeouf to Katherine Heigl and Shia LaBeouf. (Shia does this a lot.)

Shia LaBeouf on "Indiana Jones & The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull": "I think the audience is pretty intelligent. I think they know when you've made [a bad movie]. And I think if you don't acknowledge it, then why do they trust you the next time you're promoting a movie. […] We [Harrison Ford and LaBeouf] had major discussions. He wasn't happy with it either. Look, the movie could have been updated. There was a reason it wasn't universally accepted." (via LAT)

Huffington Post: Hillary Clinton 2016 Poll Shows Drop In Favorability, Lead Over Jeb Bush, Rand Paul

A new poll released Friday finds Hillary Clinton easily leading two possible 2016 GOP rivals, even as her favorability rating has dropped from earlier months.

If the 2016 presidential election were today, Clinton would beat both former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) by 8 points, according to Quinnipiac University, leading Bush 48 percent to 40 percent and Paul 49 percent to 41 percent.

Vice President Joe Biden fared worse, trailing both Republicans by several points. Bush led Biden 44 percent to 38 percent, while Paul led him 43 percent to 39 percent.

Huffington Post: Julius Richard Petri, Microbiologist, Is Honored With Google Doodle

Julius Richard Petri, the 19th-century German scientist, is the subject of Friday's Google Doodle. If you've never come across his name before, you've certain heard of his namesake. The slightly stomach-churning Doodle features the famous Petri dish.

Born in Germany, in 1862, Friday is Petri's 161st birthday. The shallow, flat dish with lid that Petri invented helps bacteria grow so that they can be studied. The Doodle to celebrate Petri is animated, and features Petri dishes in the signature Google colors. When you press the play button, a gloved hand and a swab swipes the dishes with bacteria. The bacteria grows, and when you click the dishes, different animations pop up, showing places where you might find bacteria, like a keyboard or a dog's mouth.

While Petri and his namesake deserve the honor, the whole thing just sort of makes you want to wipe everything down with disinfectant, which probably isn't a bad idea.
