Pfc. Naser Jason Abdo has been accused of biting through his lip and spitting blood on a deputy U.S. marshal and a sheriff's deputy who were escorting him after a court hearing last month. Michaela "Mickey" Shunick, a 22-year-old senior anthropology major at the University of Louisiana, was last seen at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday, when she left a friend's home on Ryan Street in Lafayette. Shunick was cycling to her home on Governor Miro Drive, a distance of about four miles, when she vanished without a trace, the Lafayette Police Department said. But the clavicle - okay, the collarbone - is also the most commonly broken bone in the human body. It cracks easily, like those thin Pogen ginger snaps my mother used to buy. Clavicles are beautiful.
