Huffington Post: Muslims And Catholics Come Together For Christmas Donations In London, Ontario

Catholics and Muslims were able to put their religious differences aside for the sake of Canada's poor this week.

According to the London Free Press, members of the London, Ontario, Muslim mosque helped the Society of St. Vincent du Paul, a Catholic organization, gather enough food to feed more than 100 families during the Christmas season.

"I feel extremely pleased and grateful, looking around this room," Moe Lacerte, the volunteer president of the St. Vincent de Paul conference, told the London Free Press as he looked over the overwhelming donations collected by the mosque.

On Friday, scientists announced a discovery in the evolution of human health through an analysis of bat DNA. While the flying mammal's immunity to viruses like Ebola, SARS and Nipah has stumped researchers in the past, recent studies shed light on the phenomenon. "We have studied rats for 150 years to understand how to do better ... Now we have a system, the bat, that has done very well in evolution," said Professor Lin-Fa Wang, an infectious disease expert at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School in Singapore. "With modern techniques, we can design new drugs to slow down the ageing process, treat cancer, fight infections."

"I would say my [personal] style is traditional with flavor; classy, confident and cool," Underwood told us in the exclusive interview. "This is not something I need to do, but something I want to do." The son of an interior decorator and brother of a painter does realize that art naturally flows from him. So when K&G stores approached him, Underwood gravitated towards the idea of making affordable menswear for the style-conscious man.
