Huffington Post: FIU Frat Pi Kappa Alpha Suspended For Being Dumb Enough To Sell Drugs On Facebook

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 05:46 PM PDT

The Miami-based public university became aware of the postings recently, the Miami Herald reports, and the administration and police are investigating. The FIU Pike Facebook page has since been deleted.

"The university is taking this information very seriously because it suggests possible Student Code of Conduct violations," FIU said in a statement. "The university took prompt action and placed the fraternity on interim suspension pending the outcome of investigations by appropriate university departments, including the police. As a result, the fraternity has been instructed to cease all meetings and events."
