Huffington Post: 'Sons Of Anarchy' Season 5 Teaser Trailer: Jax Drives Off A Cliff (VIDEO) Posted: 09 Jul 2012 10:43 AM PDT "Sons Of Anarchy" has released a new Season 5 teaser trailer that sets an ominous, foreboding tone for Jax's reign over SAMCRO. Set to Dan Auerbach's "Trouble Weighs A Ton," the teaser is rife with symbolism and has the feel of a dream sequence. While Jax is riding with the Sons, his mom Gemma and wife Tara appear in the middle of the road, trying to stop him. With the recently-toppled Clay looking on, Jax swerves out of their way and careens off a cliff. Actor Charlie Hunnam, who plays Jax, previewed his character's Season 5 story arc in an interview with TVLine. "Jax has been battling for four seasons about [staying with the club or leaving], and at the end of last year, he absolutely made the decision that he was going to stay ... And if he is going to be here, he's going to make it work. This is a much more calm, mature, practical and driven Jax, which is going to be really exciting and fun to play." Read More... Huffington Post: Katie Holmes 'Fired' Tom Cruise's Daughter, Bella, From Fashion Line Posted: 09 Jul 2012 10:49 AM PDT During the entire Katie Holmes-Tom Cruise divorce saga thus far, we've noticed how much Katie has focused her attentions on her fashion endeavors (not to mention her daughter Suri). So it comes as no surprise that even before serving Tom with divorce papers asking for full custody, the mother also took a big step to protect her fashion line Holmes & Yang: She fired Tom's daughter from the company. A source tells The Hollywood Reporter that Bella, Tom's 19-year-old adopted daughter from his marriage to Nicole Kidman, was abruptly fired from her post at Holmes & Yang just two months before Katie decided to formally end the marriage. According to the source, the decision seemed out of the blue: There was never any trouble between them. Bella called Katie 'Mom.' She was fired out of the blue, and once Katie filed for divorce, it all made sense. This was a carefully planned ambush. Katie didn't want Bella working for her anymore because she was Tom's kid. Huffington Post: Ringo Starr On The Beatles' Legacy: 'We're Still Outselling Most Acts!' Posted: 09 Jul 2012 10:49 AM PDT Ringo Starr celebrated his 72nd birthday on Saturday with a public "peace and love moment" in Nashville. Hundreds of fans joined Starr, from the baby boomers who grew up during the height of Beatlemania to the Millennials who discovered The Beatles decades after the band broke up in 1970. Of course, Starr wouldn't have it any other way. In an interview with CNN, the famous drummer said that he is proud that The Beatles' music is still popular with young people. "The music we made is still important," he said. "The kids are still learning about our music all these years later. We left a great legacy. Every generation listens to The Beatles. We're still outselling most acts!" And Starr isn't kidding. In 2009, Nielsen SoundScan reported that The Beatles had the highest-selling album of the past decade. The Beatles' greatest hits compilation, 1, sold 11.5 million copies, edging out 'N Sync's No Strings Attached, which sold 11.1 million units. The iconic British group also sold approximately 30 million albums from Jan. 2000 to Dec. 2009. Read More... More on Video |
