Huffington Post: Maryland Cyberbullying Bill Is Unconstitutional, Says ACLU

A 2013 Maryland General Assembly bill bearing the name of a Howard County teenager who killed herself last year is expected to be signed into law, but it stands on shaky constitutional ground, an official of the Maryland ACLU said.

The "Misuse of Interactive Computer Service" bill is also known simply as Grace's Law, named for Grace McComas, the 15-year-old Glenelg High School student who committed suicide on Easter Sunday last year after months of being harassed on social media sites.

Her parents, David and Chris McComas, said they tried to stop the malicious messages, but police and courts told them nothing could be done.

Huffington Post: Chi Cheng Dead: Deftones Bassist Dies At 42

Deftones bassist Chi Cheng died early Saturday morning, his family confirms. He was 42.

According to a statement released on his website OneLoveForChi.com, the musician, who has been in a semi-conscious state since a 2008 car accident, was taken to the emergency room where he died at 3 a.m. on April 13.

"Our dearest Family, This is the hardest thing to write to you. Your love and heart and devotion to Chi was unconditional and amazing," the statement reads. "I know that you will always remember him as a giant of a man on stage with a heart for every one of you. He was taken to the eme[r]gency room and at 3 am today his heart just suddenly stopped. He left this world with me singing songs he liked in his ear. He fought the good fight. You stood by him sending love daily. He knew that he was very loved and never alone."
