Huffington Post: Wisconsin State Senate Control Appears To Shift To Democrats Posted: 06 Jun 2012 10:13 AM PDT Democrats have appeared to win control of the Wisconsin state Senate, with former state Sen. John Lehman (D) declaring victory in a recall election of state Sen. Van Wanggaard (R). According to late results, Lehman leads Wanggaard by a margin of 36,255 votes to 35, 476. The results are still unofficial and Wanggaard has not yet conceded, but Lehman declared victory. If Lehman's win is confirmed, Democrats will have a 17-16 edge in the chamber.
