Huffington Post: Marco Rubio: Obama Immigration Policy 'Injects Politics' Into Debate (VIDEO)

Posted: 24 Jun 2012 08:40 AM PDT

WASHINGTON -- Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) attacked President Barack Obama's new immigration policy on Sunday, claiming that the new standard, which grants certain young undocumented immigrants a reprieve from deportation, "injects politics" into the debate over immigration.

"It's a short-term fix for a long-term problem," Rubio said on "NBC's Meet The Press." "The issue has been politicized by the president."

Huffington Post: This Week In Beauty: The Best & Worst From June 17-24 (PHOTOS)

In a survey, two-thirds of British women said that heading to the office bare-faced caused them more stress than public speaking, going on a first date or enduring a job interview. 91 percent of women surveyed would rather cancel a first date altogether than go without makeup on. And in the U.S., women spend around $7 billion on cosmetics every year.

And that doesn't even include hair. The AP recently reported that in 1950, about seven percent of women dyed their hair. Today? 95 percent or more.

Huffington Post: Greek Crisis: An Odyssey Seen Through Ancient Myth

Posted: 24 Jun 2012 09:04 AM PDT

ATHENS, Greece — In Greek mythology, King Sisyphus pushed a boulder up a hill, over and over, forever, in a futile exercise that a few commentators have compared to international efforts to revive Greece's dire finances. Homer's Odyssey, whose protagonist endures years of peril on his way home after the Trojan War, is seen as another metaphor for the ordeal of a nation in its fifth year of recession.

Scylla and Charybdis, the sea monsters flanking a strait that forced ships to brave one side or the other, are associated today with the expression, "between a rock and a hard place," the predicament of modern Greeks left with no good options.
