DALLAS -- A Manson family follower whose recorded conversations with his late attorney are part of a Texas bankruptcy proceeding says Los Angeles police should be allowed to listen to the tapes but not take possession of them.

Charles "Tex" Watson wrote in a motion filed last week that giving the tapes of his conversations to the LAPD outright could result in media gaining access. He says that would create "a public dishonor" to those "emotionally attached" to the Manson murders.

DONETSK, Ukraine — England held on for a 1-1 draw with France on Monday at the European Championship, giving the Group D favorites one point each.

Joleon Lescott put England in the lead with a header in the 30th minute, and Samir Nasri leveled for France shortly before halftime with a strike into the bottom corner of the net.

Our biggest pet peeve is the inevitabile march of time and the tragic monotony of existence. With that in mind, we have to deal with another damn week and all the BS that comes with it. So annoying. These are the specific things out of a mountain of nonsense that we'd certainly rather not face.
