WASHINGTON — Despite warnings that less government oversight might mean more investment scams, Congress on Tuesday sent President Barack Obama legislation he endorsed making it easier for startups to raise capital without running afoul of federal regulations.

The legislation, backed by Silicon Valley and the high-tech industry, is on course to be one of the few achievements this year for a Congress mired in partisan divisions and primed for the fall elections.

The first trailer has been released for Adam Sandler's new animated feature, "Hotel Transylvania."

The film follows Dracula (Sandler), who now works as a hotel manager of a luxury -- albeit spooky -- hotel for monsters, ghouls and goblins who want to "rest in peace." Frankenstein (Kevin James), Quasimodo (David Koechner), Murray the Mummy (Cee Lo Green) and The Invisible Man (David Spade) are all hotel regulars.

However, things get tricky for Dracula when a human boy (Steve Buscemi) accidentally discovers the hotel and falls for the count's teenage daughter (Selena Gomez).

NEW YORK -- Stylist June Ambrose helped remake the image of Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey as they were preparing major comebacks, but there's one icon she didn't get to remake – Whitney Houston.

Working with Houston wasn't a pipe dream for Ambrose. With the singer readying a return to the spotlight with the upcoming movie, "Sparkle," and new music, it was a real possibility. But she died Feb. 11 on the eve of the Grammys at 48 of an accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine use as contributing factors.
