Posted: 22 Feb 2013 08:41 AM PST Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake recently wowed fans with their performance of "Suit & Tie" at the Grammys. Now, the powerful pair is coming together for a tour which includes, luckily for Detroit fans, a stop at Ford Field. Live Nation announced Friday that the "Legends of the Summer" tour begins July 17 with a stop in Toronto and hits 11 other cities. The Detroit concert takes place on Aug. 6, in what's turning out to be a busy concert summer -- it's just a couple weeks after Jay-Z's wife (whom you may know as Beyonce) comes to the Motor City for "The Mrs. Carter Show" tour at the Palace of Auburn Hills on July 20. According to the Detroit Free Press, Jay-Z hasn't come to town since 2011 for the "Watch the Throne" tour with Kanye West. Timberlake hasn't performed locally since 2007. Read More... More on Video |
