They adorn billboards, T-shirts, business cards and now headstones?

Graveyards are becoming interactive with the addition of small Quick Response (QR) codes. Visitors can scan the codes with a smartphone and access memorial pages, obituaries and online photo albums of the deceased.

"It's just great technology," according to Lori Miller, a Philadelphia entrepreneur who is launching her own gravestone-specific QR code tagging company called Digital Legacys.

Huffington Post: 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo': Raise Given To Family

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" took the country by storm and TLC has redneckognized that and has given the family a compensation boost. According to TMZ, the network gave the Thompson/Shannon clan a raise after the second episode of Season 1.

The raise, according to TMZ, took the family from about $5,000-$7,000 an episode to between $15,000-$20,000 an episode. The network also reportedly offered to cover various expenses, including a bodyguard/driver for Sugar Bear after his mud-boggin' accident.

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" has been a ratings hit for TLC. Over its 10 episode first season, the series averaged 2.3 million viewers, its most-watched episode had about 3 million viewers.

Huffington Post: Ben Bernanke Cautions Congress Against Invading Fed's Privacy

WASHINGTON — Chairman Ben Bernanke offered a sharp defense Monday of the Federal Reserve's bold policies to stimulate the weak economy, while cautioning Congress to respect its private discussions.

The Fed needs to drive down borrowing rates because the economy isn't growing fast enough to reduce high unemployment, Bernanke said in a speech to the Economic Club of Indiana. The unemployment rate is 8.1 percent.

Huffington Post: Illinois Redistricting Complaint: Supreme Court Won't Take Up Republicans' Challenge

WASHINGTON -- The Supreme Court won't hear a challenge from Illinois Republicans who want a Democratic-drawn legislative map thrown out.

The high court on Monday refused to hear an appeal from Senate Minority Leader Christine Radogno and other Republicans. They say the maps drawn by Democrats were gerrymandered to benefit the party and were unconstitutional. The lower courts have thrown out their complaints.
