Sorry to do this to you, dear readers, but we just found the dark side of cereal. These haunting photo illustrations that depict cartoon cereal characters gone bad almost make us never want to eat Cap'n Crunch again. Artist Guillermo Fajardo, along with graphic designer Jieying Li, created warped personalities for these beloved mascot. Thought Count Chocula's only vice was his love of chocolate? Turns out that he has recently been convinced to be a vampire-murderer and is ready to hunt.

Fajardo describes the idea:

This project is based on a personal point of view, taking all my child memories and turning them into a new sarcastic and adult vision, remaking all the cereal gang.

Huffington Post: Baby Panda Takes First Steps: San Diego Zoo's Adorable Cub Learns To Walk (VIDEO)

A new video released yesterday by the San Diego Zoo shows a baby panda learning how to walk. Blinking and squeaking, the adorable panda cub pushes itself up slowly, managing a step or two before tumbling over sleepily.

The cub's first steps were recorded during the yet unnamed bear's ninth check-up at the zoo, where his measurements and weight were recorded.

Now 11 weeks old, the cub is 21.6 inches long and weighs 7.2 pounds. He's also growing little teeth, becoming more active and climbing out of his den himself, according to the zoo.

WASHINGTON -- You might say Ashley Judd is making it double jeopardy Friday for embattled Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-Tenn.).

That's because after a national group started spending money to highlight his affair with a patient whom he pushed to get an abortion, the Volunteer State actress is lending her well-known name to a fundraising push on behalf of DesJarlais' Democratic opponent, state Sen. Eric Stewart.

In an email pitch being sent out Friday, the "Double Jeopardy" and "Kiss the Girls" star says DesJarlais, who is a doctor, is a prime example of why people don't trust politicians. And she says he needs to go.
