Tonight President Obama's right-hand man Joe Biden will be facing off against Romney VP pick Paul Ryan in the vice presidential debate! While Paul Ryan's wife, Janna Ryan, is sure to be there cheering on her husband, we're also looking forward to seeing Joe's wife, Dr. Jill Biden, in the audience.

We got a glimpse of Joe and Jill's sweet connection at the Democratic National Convention, as Jill made a touching introduction for Joe before his speech on the final day of the convention. She said, "When I first met him, Joe had already seen just how fragile life could be. When he was 29 years old, Joe lost his first wife and baby daughter in a tragic car accident while they were out getting their Christmas tree, and the boys were critically injured. Joe's life was shattered. But through his strong Catholic faith and his fierce love for our boys, Joe found the strength to get back up." Joe then took to the stage and thanked his wife, "Jilly," joking that he had no idea what he would have done if she turned down his fifth marriage proposal.

After he tragically lost his first wife, Joe was a single dad to his two sons for five years before meeting Jill on a blind date set up by his brother. And even after being married for 35 years, the two seem to still have that special spark. At a political rally in 2008, Joe introduced his "drop-dead gorgeous" wife, and then at the 2009 Inaugural Ball he said, "I may not be able to dance, but I sure like holding her." They are just too cute! So ahead of tonight's VP debate, see Joe and Jill Biden's sweetest moments over the years.

Huffington Post: Mitt Romney Makes Play For Newspaper Endorsements In Battleground States

NEW YORK -- The Des Moines Register endorsed President Barack Obama in the 2008 election and, given the paper's left-leaning editorial board, could be expected to do the same this time around.

Nevertheless, Mitt Romney met Tuesday with The Register. The Republican presidential nominee arrived early and took questions for 45 minutes from editors and reporters, seated around folding tables in a Quonset hut, before delivering a campaign speech on farm policy in the rural Iowa setting.

Picking up the paper's endorsement on Oct. 28 would be a surprise for the Romney campaign. But it's not out of the question.
